Terry Vincent White
Terry Vincent White, Owner of The English Garden, is a talented event designer who has designed over 2,000 weddings and events in his impressive career! His floral creations can best be described as “timeless with a twist”.
“Simple. Beautiful. Let the flowers be the feature”.
Terry is originally from a small town in Kentucky. He says that when he thinks back to his hometown the memories are “grey”. However, when his family made a move to Congo, Africa he noticed that everything was “so green, colorful, and intense”! It was this contrast that started him on a lifetime journey of discovering the beauty and impact that flowers and plants can have on people. When Terry came back to the states from Africa and began his college studies, he focused on accounting. However, it didn’t take long for him to find his way back to his true passion - flowers.
Hence, The English Garden was born! From retail store locations displaying luxurious ornaments, floral creations and home decor to traveling across the country producing weddings and events, Terry grew The English Garden! (He wouldn’t say so but we will) -Terry could boast doing events for such notable names as Allison Krauss, James Garner, Al Gore, and Brenda Lee… just to name a few! Terry White and The English Garden became well respected among the well-respected! After years in retail, Terry decided to exclusively focus on flowers for weddings and events.
Although his career in floral design has allowed him to travel and create memorable events for his clients, Terry currently services wedding and events within the Southeast. In his spare time between those events, you’ll find Terry in his moss garden pruning, building ponds, and creating walls and landscapes around his home in Belle Meade in Nashville, TN. His patio alone, is magazine worthy! He enjoys working with mediums such as copper, wood, concrete, and wine corks to create features that accent his plants. He has the ultimate English Garden! Paige Williams
Paige has been a part of The English Garden team for almost 14 years! She has helped to create weddings and events through floral design and works as Terry's right hand on event weekends. Paige's day job is Interior Designer for her interior design firm, Paige Williams Design. She is an award winning designer and credits much of what she's learned in business to Terry.
Michael Flick
Michael is a talented landscaper who assists Terry in accomplishing his creative ideas on the property. Michael, himself, is talented in his own right as a landscaper and has experience building beautiful outdoor spaces with plants, ponds, and art features. Michael is also a key part of the The English Garden team through floral design and event installation.
Emily Goodin
Emily is a wardrobe stylist and creative director who just loves to produce content on the side. So, when Terry heard this, he decided to ask her to help him produce his YouTube Channel. Emily is the person behind the lens helping to capture Terry's incredible spaces! You might see her from time to time, but she likes to let Terry shine in his element. Emily also helps with flowers and event design installation on event weekends with The English Garden.
